Your Carbon Footprints

🌍 Why Should You Track Your Carbon Footprint? Every action we take—be it driving our vehicle, buying new clothes, or running air conditioners—adds to our carbon footprint, which directly contributes to climate change and environmental degradation. But it's not just the planet that suffers. Excess consumption, cluttered lifestyles, and the constant chase for more also disturb the tranquility of our minds. This calculator helps you measure how your everyday choices contribute to environmental impact. By becoming aware, we can begin to choose consciously, reduce excesses, and move toward a more minimalist lifestyle—one that is lighter on the planet and more peaceful within.

🔍 How is your carbon footprint calculated?
We estimate the CO₂ emissions based on three major lifestyle choices:

  • Personal vehicle travel: Every kilometer driven by a fuel-based vehicle emits about 0.21 kg of CO₂.
  • Clothing purchases: Every new clothing item (including manufacturing and shipping) emits around 25 kg of CO₂.
  • Air conditioner usage: Each hour of AC usage emits approximately 1.5 kg of CO₂, depending on energy source and efficiency.
These values are multiplied with your inputs to give a monthly total estimate. This helps you become aware of your environmental impact and take simple steps to reduce it.
