The doctrine of Truth ( Who "I" am ?)

Introduction:

In recent years, profound questions have continuously pervaded human consciousness, such as "Who are we?", "Why are we here?", "Is there a greater purpose?", "Who or what created the Universe?", "If God is the creator, then who created God?", and "Is God truly all-powerful and supreme?" Among these questions, if I were to select a favourite, it would be a matter of deep contemplation and reflection.

Sacred Texts and the Exploration of Truth:

Across both Eastern and Western traditions, numerous sacred texts have been written to address these existential inquiries. What sets these texts apart is their refusal to present the truth as dogma or a rigid doctrine enforced through words. Instead, they embody an experiential approach that encourages genuine observation of truth, surpassing the realm of mere belief. If a text becomes dogmatic, it fails to encompass the essence of truth. The cosmos itself is observed to be in a perpetual state of transition, rendering any single phase an incomplete representation of reality.

Common Threads: Impermanence and the Transient Nature of Truth:

Buddhism and the Upanishads share a fundamental principle: the absence of permanence and the omnipresence of impermanence. Even the concept of "truth" is transient and evades capture through words alone. Each individual's experience may be considered their personal truth, but for others listening, it remains confined to the realm of words or poetic expression, lacking the transformative power that can only arise from personal experience.

Individual Paths and the Role of Sacred Texts:

Sacred texts serve as guides, pointing toward different paths. However, no single path can be universally followed. Each individual must discover their own unique path and embark upon it. Though these scriptures, teachers, or fellow seekers can shed light on the journey, it is solely the disciple or truth-seeker who must traverse it. Once the truth of the self is realized, the notion of a separate self dissolves, and duality ceases to exist.

The Blissful Path of Truth:

Discovering the truth becomes an exhilarating experience, akin to bliss, propelling one to live fully in each moment and awaken a new sense of self. This newfound awareness arises effortlessly, without the need for force or resistance. Every moment is imbued with pure consciousness, similar to the experience of hearing a song that instantly relaxes the body and brings tranquillity to the mind, momentarily suspending all thoughts. This rejuvenated state accompanies each moment, unburdened by worries or future concerns. Neither attached to the past nor displaying madness or insanity, this journey is characterized by seamless harmony, where the true self, now intertwined with the cosmic celebration, is experienced.

The Power of Intention and Embracing the Unknown:

One undeniable truth is that when we wholeheartedly focus our attention and awareness on achieving something, the entire universe conspires to fulfil our aspirations. We come to realize that there exists something beyond our thoughts and the familiar realm of "the known." This "unknown" holds the key to our liberation from suffering, misery, stress, and the complexities of everyday life. By striving to understand this realm, we discover that our mind begins to align with its profound wisdom, granting us release from emotional turbulence and boredom.

Embracing the Void: A Journey Within:

The initial step in seeking profound understanding lies in the observance of the void when we allow ourselves to sit idly in introspection. It is within ourselves, not outside, that we embark on this quest for deeper meaning.
